About Us

We are a custom manufacturer that builds systems to fit the needs of our customers, and our philosophy is "To sell our clients not only our equipment, but our knowledge."

Our Approach

Pneu-Mech integrates equipment made by respected suppliers with its own fabrication capabilities and extensive knowledge base to achieve each customer's desired outcome for its finishing operation. We view ourselves as partners with the clients we serve, and highly value ongoing relationships. Our designs are very adaptable and utilitarian. We strive for minimal maintenance and upkeep. Future expansion and retrofit is usually possible with Pneu-Mech designed systems.

We also provide retrofits for systems originally made and installed by other companies. Applying the experience we have gained in a broad range of products/markets and hundreds of projects enables us to produce lasting solutions.

Company History

Pneu-Mech Systems was established in 1991 by a management group of six individuals who had worked together in the industrial sheet metal fabrication business since 1973. Originally, this group was involved in air filtration systems, but branched into finishing systems for the furniture industry in 1980. Since that time, and upon the founding of Pneu-Mech Systems, we have directed our manufacturing/sales efforts strictly towards finishing systems equipment (both liquid and powder) for metal, wood and composite materials for all industries.

With over 75 team specialists at our North Carolina facility, and utilizing a carefully selected group of sub-contractors for electrical and mechanical, we are capable of completing "turn-key" projects of most any size. Yet, we are small enough to adapt to changes and can service the small projects of our clients, also. This enables the end users of our equipment to produce both profits and a quality finish.
